History & travel

Films, chemistry, dozens, perhaps even hundreds of historical photographic processes. Exposure meters, necessities (well, more often unnecessities). Procedures, tips, forgotten bits of knowledge and useful paths that someone had to painfully carve out before us. Things that didn’t fit anywhere else — there is plenty here to dig into.

  • (S)Rázná Albánie — nohy bolí, spojka smrdí

    Abrupt Albania—sore legs, smelly clutch

  • Řecko ve čtverci

    Greece in square

Marble-clad cities scorched white-hot by the sun. Picturesquely twisted trunks of ancient olive trees, steep canyons, roads seemingly leading from nowhere to nowhere. • Středoformát na krku a Thajsko pod nohama

Medium format on the neck and Thailand underfoot

A fierce yellow dot is grilling you from above, and you don't know when crocodile, tiger or souvenir seller will jump out of the bushes. We ran out of beer, the roads are winding off into the unknown and scenes from Coppola's Apocalypse Now come to mind. And to top it all off, as if that wasn't enough, you're a photographer.
